Make a Donation
In 2023, more than 270 volunteers donated roughly 39,000 hours of their time to ensure local children in need received Bags of Love.
When you join our volunteer crew, you make a difference to kids right here in Lane County.
Help in the Warehouse
Every Bag of Love is carefully packed by one of our volunteers. From assembling toiletry kits to choosing stuffed animals and quilts, volunteers’ hands are behind every piece of our bags. As a warehouse volunteer, you can:
- Sort incoming donations
- Assemble toiletry kits and school bags
- Put together bags to fill orders from our agency partners

Sew or Quilt
We rely on local quilters and sewers to provide the handcrafted quilts and bags so integral to Bags of Love. You can provide your own materials or stop by the office to pick some up from us. We have quilt kits and batting, as well as fabric for bags. Burp cloths, bibs, receiving blankets, hats, scarfs are other creative projects we can always use! Click below for more information.
Businesses and Groups
Your company or organization can make a real difference to local kids in need. Consider the following
- Become a corporate sponsor
- Host a donation barrel
- Hold a donation drive for some of our most-needed items
- Volunteer as a team in the warehouse
- Take on a group project like tying fleece blankets
