Who is a Bag of Love For?

A Bag of Love is designed for any child in crisis due to abuse, neglect, poverty, homelessness, or disaster. It provides not only essential items for a child’s physical well-being but also offers comfort and care to support their emotional well-being.

What is included in a Bag of Love?

A Bag of Love provides every child we connect with the essentials: clothing, toiletries, toys, books, school supplies, and a handmade quilt or fleece blanket. For a child in crisis, a Bag of Love delivers support and comfort at the time they are the most vulnerable. 

Where does Bags of Love provide services?

Bags of Love serves Lane County and other urban and rural Oregon locations. Due to our limited staffing, orders must be picked up by the agency partner ordering. Shipping a Bags of Love is not an option at this time.

How can I volunteer at Bags of Love?

Volunteers who are above the age of 15 and can work a minimum of 2 hours per week are welcome to join. We are looking for those who can work in the warehouse and/or do sewing/quilting to provide love and care for children at Bags of Love. How do I make a donation to Bags of Love?

We gladly accept monetary and in-kind donations, which are essential to our operations. To donate items, visit our warehouse at 1052 Green Acres Rd, Monday through Thursday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, or find your nearest donation barrel site here. For large donations, we can arrange additional drop-off times. For more information on either type of donation, click here

What type of donations are needed?

Bags of Love accepts monetary and in-kind donations of new and “like new” clothing, toys, books, and other essentials. We also welcome new fabric, toiletries, and children’s activities. Serving children from birth to age 17, we particularly need clothing and outerwear in sizes ranging from preemie to adult 4XL.
