In 2023, nearly 5,000 local children received a Bag of Love.

A Bag of Love is a care package for a child in need – a child in poverty, moving into foster care, or one without a home at all.

It provides a sense of security and comfort, a “security blanket” to hold onto at what may be the worst point in his or her young life.

It is a ray of hope in a time of crisis.

“Thank you for the bags you sent to my family. It’s the nicest thing that has happened to me, and for that I will be forever grateful. I will pass it on and help when I see families in need.”
